SIZE GUIDE

FIND YOUR
PERFECT SIZE.

Glove size depends on the length of your hand. The DENY range covers goalkeepers from U9 to adult — junior sizes (4-6) and adult sizes (7-11).

01 — MEASURE

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HAND

  1. Place your hand flat with fingers extended.
  2. Measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger.
  3. Refer to the length (in cm) in the table below.

Measure the hand, never the age. Two goalkeepers in the same age group might be two sizes apart.

DENY SIZE CHART

Hand Length Size Range Corresponds to
16 – 17 cm 4 Junior U9 – U10
17 – 18 cm 5 Junior U11 – U12
18 – 19 cm 6 Junior U13
18 – 19 cm 7 Adult Teen / small adult hand
19 – 20 cm 8 Adult Standard small
20 – 21 cm 9 Adult Standard
21 – 22 cm 10 Adult Large hand
22 – 23 cm 11 Adult Very large hand

Categories are indicative: the measurement is definitive. Between 18 and 19 cm, both ranges are suitable — see FAQ below.

💡 Choose the size that exactly matches your measurement. DENY cuts are negative, meaning they are a second skin fit: they don't tolerate a size up well. If you're between two sizes, round down.

03 — TIPS

TIPS BASED ON YOUR PROFILE

  • ⚡ Explosive play / quick reflexes (Adult)
Stick to your exact size, and play without a strap for maximum feel.
  • 🥊 Aerial play / boxing (Adult)
Again, stick to your exact size, and add the removable strap to lock your wrist. The strap provides support, not an extra size.
  • 🏃 Young goalkeeper who trains regularly (Junior)
Their exact size for a second-skin feel from the first touch.
  • 🌱 Growing child (Junior)
Their exact size, even if they are growing fast. An oversized glove moves with every save, hurts on impact and wears out faster — it won't "last" two seasons, it will just be poor during the first one.
  • 🎯 First DENY pair
Measure your hand rather than relying on your usual size: correspondences vary from brand to brand. And you can exchange within 14 days if the gloves haven't been used.

04 — FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Junior or Adult: how to choose the range?

The Junior range (sizes 4 to 6) is designed for young goalkeepers from U9 to U13: negative cut with Roll Thumb to protect the thumb, durable 3mm latex suitable for lighter shots, secure strap. The Adult range (sizes 7 to 11) is designed for teenagers and adults: second-skin negative cut, 4mm German Contact latex, removable straps. The choice is based primarily on hand length, then on category.

I'm between two sizes, which one should I choose?

The smaller one. DENY gloves have a negative cut: they are snug by design, and that's what gives the ball feel. An oversized glove creates a gap between the palm and the latex, which wrinkles on impact instead of staying flat — you lose grip and the glove wears out faster. You can exchange within 14 days if it's not right.

How do I know if the size is right when I have it in hand?

Your fingertips should reach the end of the glove without being squashed (3 to 5 mm margin). The palm should fit snugly without pulling. You should be able to make a fist without tension, and the latex should follow the movement without forming a bulge at the fingertips.

My child's hand is 18 cm, Junior or Adult range?

Between 18 and 19 cm, both are suitable: stick with the ZERO ROOKIE in size 6 if the child is still in a junior category, switch to the adult DENY ZERO in size 7 if they are already taking heavy shots. This is the transition zone between the two ranges.

Does the glove stretch with use?

Very slightly, especially during the first few matches: the latex and fabric soften. This is another reason not to go up a size. Choose your true size — the glove will adjust to your hand, not the other way around.

My child's hand is less than 16 cm

Our range does not currently go below 16 cm. It's better to know this before ordering: opt for a junior pair from another brand, applying the same criteria — correct size, decent latex, never an oversized glove.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between ROOKIE and ZERO?

The ZERO is our adult model: negative second-skin cut, 4mm German Contact latex, strapless system + removable strap. The ROOKIE is the junior version (sizes 4 to 6): Flat + Roll Thumb cut for a more encompassing fit, durable 3mm latex, 360° strap. Same DNA, two uses.

I'm between two sizes, which one should I take?

Still the greatest. The negative cut (ZERO) is adjusted - a glove that is too tight becomes uncomfortable after 30 minutes. On ROOKIE, the 360° strap makes up for the margin even better. And you can exchange within 14 days.

How do I know if the size is right when I have it in hand?

Fingers touching the end of the glove without being squashed (3-5 mm of clearance). Palm conforming to the hand without pulling. You should be able to close your fist without tension. On the ROOKIE, the 360° strap should close comfortably without being tight.

Does the glove stretch out with use?

Very slightly, especially in the first few matches. The latex and fabric will soften. If you're unsure, don't size down thinking it will stretch out - choose your true size, or size up.
