THE DENY STORY
The project of a goalkeeper from Angers who spent 15 years in goal
before making the glove he wished he had worn.
01 — THE SPARK
Recreational football, amateur football, matches with friends. Over 15 years of going through pairs and always paying more for products that didn't live up to their promises.
I tried the big brands. I also tried the small ones. I found good models, sometimes real favorites — but never the glove that combined everything: technical quality, real on-field performance, and a fair price.
And then there was the other frustration: young goalkeepers. My son, my nephews, the kids from the football school. They deserve better than a copy of the adult model with low-end latex.
So I decided to make what I would have wanted to find. And to do it for goalkeepers, by a goalkeeper.
02 — THE PROJECT
The DENY idea sprouted over a year ago. At first, just an intuition. Then sketches, discussions with manufacturers, rejected prototypes.
6 months ago, I went all in. Fully committed to the project. Several prototype versions tested in matches, training, in the rain. Every detail reviewed — the latex thickness, the cut, the removable strap, the stitching.
Today DENY is available for pre-order. Two models available: DENY ZERO for adults, DENY ZERO ROOKIE for young goalkeepers U6-U13.
THE TIMELINE
2009
At 15, I discovered the position. The beginning of an obsession.
2024
Too many seasons struggling. The idea of a glove designed by a goalkeeper starts to mature.
January 2026
First prototype. Field tests. Validation with goalkeepers in real conditions.

DENY ZERO ROOKIE — For young goalkeepers U6 to U13. Adapted Flat + Roll Thumb cut, 3mm German Contact latex. €49. Because a child starting in goal deserves better than a scaled-down copy of a pro model.

What is the difference between ROOKIE and ZERO?
The ZERO is our adult model: negative second-skin cut, 4mm German Contact latex, strapless system + removable strap. The ROOKIE is the junior version (sizes 4 to 6): Flat + Roll Thumb cut for a more encompassing fit, durable 3mm latex, 360° strap. Same DNA, two uses.
I'm between two sizes, which one should I take?
Still the greatest. The negative cut (ZERO) is adjusted - a glove that is too tight becomes uncomfortable after 30 minutes. On ROOKIE, the 360° strap makes up for the margin even better. And you can exchange within 14 days.
How do I know if the size is right when I have it in hand?
Fingers touching the end of the glove without being squashed (3-5 mm of clearance). Palm conforming to the hand without pulling. You should be able to close your fist without tension. On the ROOKIE, the 360° strap should close comfortably without being tight.
Does the glove stretch out with use?
Very slightly, especially in the first few matches. The latex and fabric will soften. If you're unsure, don't size down thinking it will stretch out - choose your true size, or size up.
